United Nations High-level Meeting on noncommunicable disease prevention and control

A key result of the High-level Meeting itself will be the adoption of an outcome document that addresses the key challenges related to the prevention and control of NCDs. The multiple engagements, meetings, reports and other activities at global, regional and national levels will all play their part in shaping what the final document will look like.

Meeting the chronic disease challenge: high-level regional workshop

On Tuesday, June 21, 2011, participants in this workshop held in Jakarta will engage in four roundtable sessions covering the important role of prevention, intervention, integrated disease management, and innovative partnerships in the addressing the growing threat of Non-Communicable Disease across Southeast Asia.  This workshop is co-hosted by the Partnership to Fight Chronic Disease and the Indonesian Ministry of Health.
